How Swyftly collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our platform.

1. Who we are

Jaipee Ltd (company number 16941485), registered office 60 Tottenham Court Road, Fitzrovia, London, United Kingdom, W1T 2EW, trading as "Swyftly" ("Swyftly", "we", "us"), is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the swyftly.one website and booking platform. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number [insert ICO registration number].

2. What data we collect

CustomersName, phone number, email address, current location/postcode, destination details, vehicle make/model/registration, special conditions you tell us about, payment confirmation details from our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers), and any free-text notes you provide.
OperatorsName, phone number, email address, base postcode and service areas, vehicle category and registration, driving licence details, insurance confirmations, and any additional information you provide on your application.
All visitorsTechnical data such as IP address and browser/device type, and — only with your device permission — GPS location, if you choose to use the "detect my location" feature.
Enquiry formName, email, optional phone number, subject and message content.

We do not knowingly collect any special category data (such as health information) unless you choose to share it with us, for example in the free-text "anything else we should know" field, where you might mention a medical condition relevant to your safe recovery. We only use information you provide voluntarily in this way to help the attending Operator assist you safely, and not for any other purpose.

4. Who we share it with

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers (including Stripe, Twilio and Google) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the provider's participation in an approved data transfer framework or the use of UK International Data Transfer Agreements / Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about the safeguards in place for a particular provider.

6. How long we keep it

We keep Booking and payment records for as long as needed to meet our accounting and tax obligations (normally at least 6 years after the end of the relevant financial year). We keep Operator compliance records (insurance, licences) for the duration of an Operator's registration plus a reasonable period afterwards to deal with any claims. Enquiry messages are kept only as long as needed to resolve your query, typically no more than 24 months. We delete or anonymise personal data once it is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless we are required to keep it for longer by law.

8. Cookies & similar technologies

Our website uses only the technical functionality needed to operate the Platform — for example, requesting your device's GPS location (only if you tap "detect my location" and grant browser permission) to help calculate distance, and loading web fonts from Google's font service. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent through a cookie banner before any non-essential cookie is set, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

9. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including secure (HTTPS) connections, restricted access to booking data, and the use of reputable, PCI-compliant payment and messaging providers. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly if a problem ever arises.

10. Children

Our Services are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new feature or a change in the law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.
